Saint-Imier, 1841 — older than Heuer, on the same street. Leonidas made chronographs and military timers until Heuer bought it in 1964, after which the name slowly disappeared from dials.
A Leonidas is what a good Swiss chronograph looked like before the industry consolidated. They are uncommon and, for now, largely unnoticed.
